Tracee Loran is a New York City-based actress, writer, producer, TV host, and former ESPN reporter who has navigated her own unique path through the entertainment industry.

The Chicago native received a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Upon completing her undergrad studies, Tracee headed to New York City to attend the American Musical & Dramatic Academy.

For two years, Tracee hosted and penned a very popular Internet show called “TV Quickie with Nikki.” Later, she worked as an on-air reporter for ESPN Mobile. In her role, she covered major sporting events like the Super Bowl, Wimbledon, and MLB League Division Series.

Her series “Black History Baddies” has 1.5 million views across social media. In this one-woman show, Tracee plays all the parts: writing, researching, cinematography, editing, costume design, and more. She has also appeared in many national TV ads for major brands like Arby’s, AT&T, FedEx, and HBO.

Tracee’s journey is inspiring. During her first acting role, she was invited to join the writer’s room, which significantly impacted her career trajectory. She offers this and other rich insights in her book, “Shuck The Corn,” about pursuing acting without going broke or losing hope.

Her blend of experience and engaging storytelling captivates audiences. She is currently developing new content, including a TV series, “Queen of the Yard”, which will hopefully be on a TV near you, soon.

Tracee also manages an online marketing company, The Socialite Design. Her major goals in life are to enrich the lives of young people in her community; keep evolving as a person; and to continue doing what she loves to do – creating indelible projects and helping other artists do the same.
